Per the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms
the demilitarization of a firearm requires a specific and detailed procedure to be legal.

Per 27 CFR 179
 the proper forms must be completed to legally register/transfer a firearm to a government agency.

If the steps above are not performed
an individual in possession of an unregistered NFA firearm may be subject to imprisonment for 10 years and/or a
fine of $250,000.00 and the location where the weapon is located is subject to seizure.

An official certification of disposal will be obtained for your records. All local, state and federal firearms paperwork is handled by our staff and we also offer local Pickup by our courteous and experienced staff.
